BrainPlus IQ Review: Can it Really Deliver?

I question all products like BrainPlus IQ these days because of the sheer numbers there are available online and in turn, the scams along with them. These types of products have been available for some time now but it is in recent times that they have really grown in numbers as more and more companies have started producing them and more and more marketing schemes are used to convince you of how great their one product is better than all the rest. Unfortunately, this leads to exaggeration of the products abilities and shady tactics to convince you of purchasing, all the while still keeping their prices super high regardless of the competition. I have seen similar products range in the $100+ price brackets where it almost seems as if they are trying to convince you that their product is quality simply because it’s expensive.

I personally have tried quite a few of these products and have come to the conclusion that none really live up to their promises, though some, are certainly more effective than others. The reason I do reviews is not necessarily to convince you to buy a certain product or move on but rather to provide you with clear information about the product which may otherwise miss in the official website.

What is BrainPlus IQ?

This is another natural supplement that promises to help improve your overall cognitive performance. They claim that it will help boost your focus by clearing your mind and allowing for better mental absorption all the while offering mental clarity through natural enhancement of neurotransmitters of the brain. The effective and proven scientific formula is claimed to be an effective nootropic.

Most people suffer from cognitive decline especially once they pass 30 years of age. This is mainly due to general daily stress on the brain and the fact that as we age brain cells die. Also, our diet plays a major role in the way our brain functions and a supplement is a great solution to get the necessarily vitamins and minerals for maintaining it in good condition. Some symptoms you may be experiencing cognitive decline are:

  • Forgetfulness
  • Lack of motivation
  • Difficulty performing mentally
  • Lack of focus
  • Very low energy
  • Hard time concentrating
  • Loss of short and/or long term memory

They claim that BrainPlus IQ will be able to improve memory loss through the scientifically proven ingredients. They share study results where men and women aged in their early 20’s to late 30’s experienced significant increase in short term memory and some increase in their long term memory while those in the 40-65 age bracket experienced a significant increase in both. This actually sounds fantastic but unfortunately they did not share the study information where they took this from. I would love to be able to read into it further.

Also, immediate energy boost will be experienced with this product as you feel more energized the moment you take it. You will stay focused and alert all day long, will not experience a mid-afternoon crash, and can still fall asleep without a problem at the end of the day. Considering this great benefit I highly recommend you do not take this supplement anytime in the afternoon to prevent insomnia, make sure you take it as early as possible.

Unfortunately there is no information about the actual ingredients in the product. They do mention that it does contain 100% pure Phosphatidylserine Complex which is a chemical that the body can make naturally. It is used for everything from age-decline function to Alzheimer’s disease, improving thinking skills in young people, depression, and much more. It is studied and scientifically confirmed to improve age-related mental decline and Alzheimer’s disease. Other benefits are currently still being studied.

They also note that it is 100% natural and is research driven and confirmed for safety and effectiveness. Another important point I want to make here, as they note that it is manufactured in an FDA GMP Facility Certified Laboratory, is that this does not mean that it is FDA approved or regulated. The statement made by the official website can be misleading.

Some Facts about the Brain

  • You can experience cognitive decline and lose brain sharpness as early as 25 years old
  • The food we consume has a major effect on our brain and contributes to the acceleration of cognitive decline
  • Supplements are the safest and fastest way to prevent cognitive decline

Humans use only 10% of their brain potential. Though I could not find the studies they discuss in the website they do note that this product (most likely an ingredient in it though rather than the product itself) is proven to boost brain power by 89.2%. Also, they claim it will give you super energy and improve focus by 121%. Again, fantastic results if only they had shared the studies to prove it.

Buying BrainPlus IQ

Ordering BrainPlus IQ can be done only through the official website. They currently have it available in 16 countries including Canada but not the United States. I like that they don’t have a free trial offer and shady membership programs. It is a straight up purchase with just one time charge and if you want to receive the product again, simply put in a new order.

  • 5 month supply – c$34.95 per bottle + free shipping
  • 3 month supply – c$45.95 per bottle + free shipping
  • 1 month supply – c$64.95 + free shipping

The price is actually quite reasonable especially if you order the bigger packages which I recommend you do once you have tried the product and are happy with it. I do recommend an initial purchase of one bottle if you are interested in trying it so you don’t end up spending a lot of money for a product you are not 100% happy with.

Though they do not provide a lot of information about the ingredients the one ingredient that they did list has proven to be effective which is more than enough for me. The price is reasonable and the terms are straightforward. I think that BrainPlus IQ could possibly be a good option for those looking to fight age cognitive decline, just make sure you read further into it and research the product more before ordering.

I bought it end of January and received it 14 March in Cape Town. From Biotrim labs. The website shows that it is posted from the U.S, but I noted a Swiss post sticker on parcel.

I found a guy on Gumtree who sells it for R700 per bottle. It’s best to order it from the direct supplier since a supplier could not be trusted to have the real thing, although it takes long to get here. I offered to pay for faster postage but they refused, saying they only do free shipping on economy post or regular post. I took the 5 bottles for R1200.
            Hope it help.

I bought this product and got a 5 months supply. I started 1,5 week ago now, but must say…. I don’t feel any difference, no more focus, no change in memory…. and I feel this week dizzy in my head, something I never had before. I wanted to try, but actually I am a little afraid now that this is a scam and that it will affect my brain negatively. Strange that all the reviews on the sites from Brainplus IQ are positive… I am sorry to say, but I have a bad feeling about this product :) I am curious if this review will be posted because it is not positive. Are there more people who doesn’t feel any changes?

Hi im from South Africa. Currently in Gr12.
I came across the article about BrainIQ via Facebook, and obviously I was super excited to just purchase it.

I consulted my mom. Who obviously kind of alerted me about the danger of it being a scam, and it being too good to be true.

I’m going to cross check with a pharmacist about this product. But otherwise , is there absolutely anyone from SA , who has actually bought this product ? And how has your experience been with the product? Did you have any trouble / problems throughout the process?

“Humans use only 10% of their brain potential”: your simplistic repetition of this myth undermines your credibility. Your brain imposes a huge burden on your body both during childbirth and later life. Evolution would soon weed out the ‘wasted’ 90%.

You rightly experss some reservations about this product, but then you make some more unsubstantiated claimes ‘cognitive decline especially once they pass 30 years of age’. Do you have research evidence to back this up?

If you want a healthy body and healthy mind, exercise and eat well. Supplements are almost certainly a waste of money.
